About Satsuma Students

 The Student Ministry of FBC Satsuma exist to move any number of students to spiritual maturity.  We do this in many ways, such as Mission Trips, Retreats, Camps and weekly activities.

Journey-Groups

Our Journey Groups are small group Bible Studies where students can connect with God’s Word and each other.  This is one of the most important things we do.  Our Journey Groups meet at 9:30 A.M. every Sunday Morning in the Student Center.

Mission-Trips-Color

The Student Ministry is always looking for ways to share Jesus through Missions.  From Summer Mission trips, working with local missions, such as One Meal or leading Worship at the Gulf State Park, we are constantly serving our community and world.  Come by and see how you can be a part.

Journey-Worship

The Journey is a Worship gathering for Students, grades 7-12.  We meet on Wednesday Nights at 6:30 P.M. in the Student Center.  This is a great opportunity to come by and check out who we are.  Relevant messages, powerful worship and a lot of fun…..

WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?

At Satsuma Students we believe that students are bombarded with a lot of influences on their lives. From peers and relationships, to school work and the extra curricular, to the always positive Hollywood influence(Ha!), teenagers today have a lot of expectations placed on them.

So, it is our joy to clarify the Christian journey to one finite word;

DISCIPLE!

WE HAVE TO GROW:

Growth implies that we have begun a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and that we are pursuing His best for our life.

WE ARE TO LOVE OTHERS:

Just as God loves us, we are to demonstrate His love to others through Jesus Christ.

SHARE THIS FAITH:

The Great Commission mandates that we share our faith with our friends, family members and to the whole world.

Our objective is to teach students how to be and make disciples. This is essentially The Great Commission. Three words define this calling in a Christian’s life.

We are glad that you are checking us out here at Satsuma Students. If we can do anything to help you, please don’t hesitate to ask. We value our role in helping students and parents!
